Area Consents Representative

 

Hourly rate: £13.85 per hour (equivalent to £27,000 per annum)

 

Monday – Friday, hours to be agreed ranging from 9am – 6pm, weekdays only. Full time or part time available.

 

Field based. Driving licence required

 

Covering North East of England, which will start in Leeds to Doncaster. The applicant must live within this area.

Summary of what your day to day will look like:

 

This is a field-based role where you’ll be visiting pre-identified properties and delivering information packs. It’s important to stress that this is not a sales role. You’re not selling anything or asking for commitments. The aim is simply to provide clear, helpful information to households that have already been identified as eligible, cutting through the usual noise of spam and unsolicited approaches.

 

Head Office will provide a guide for your routes across each area, giving you a clear structure to work from. From there, you’ll have the flexibility to make it your own, as long as all areas are covered effectively. It’s a role that suits someone who can manage their time well and stay organised while working independently.

 

From time to time, homeowners may have questions or want to understand more about the process. You’ll approach these conversations in a friendly, approachable way, offering reassurance and clear information without any pressure or pushy tactics. It’s about building trust and leaving a positive impression, not closing a deal.

 

Alongside this, you’ll keep accurate records of your visits and any interactions on the CRM system, making sure all information is up to date. You’ll also keep Head Office informed of your progress and flag anything that needs follow-up, working closely with internal teams to keep everything running smoothly.

 

What’s required to be successful in this role:

 

This role does require a practical and reliable approach day to day. You’ll be distributing a high volume of information packs, so being comfortable with a physically active role and staying organised is important. You’ll also need to be willing to use your own car to move between areas where needed.

 

As part of the role, you may be required to store materials at home, so having a bit of space and being able to manage stock sensibly will help. It’s not overly complex, but it does suit someone who is dependable, prepared, and able to stay on top of things without constant direction.
